What are my chances at Wellesley if I apply ED? Please chance me ))

bump… will chance back!!

I’d say match, but your major is a tough one. Econ is one of the most flooded Wellesley majors, so for that reason I’ll say high match/low reach. You may be truly better off applying as a math major, if you’re still undecided!
If you could chance me back, I’d appreciate it.
Best of luck, maybe we’ll meet at Wellesley :)

Wellesley ED: High match

Nma716, thanks! I saw your post as well… I do hope we can meet at Wellesley!! And I actually like maths better… So should I apply as a math major and consider double majoring in economics once I get in?

Catria, thanks!

Yes, that’s what I would do. Also Wellesley makes it extremely easy for students to change their major, it’s a very common practice there.

Okay, thanks for your advice!

Bumpity bump, anyone else please?

bump…

Very good GPA, good SAT, rigorous course load.
But AP scores are pretty mediocre, ECs are not very impressive too. Certainly you participate in a lot of clubs but what about the depth? I didn’t see any leadership or MAJOR awards here.
Overall I’d say Wellesley is a low reach for you. BTW recommendations and essays are really important too. Good luck;)

Vesper0723, thanks! I know W can’t be a match for me… Hopefully applying ED can increase my chance somehow… W is my first choice so I do hope to get in.
I’m working hard on my essays too…
About the clubs… I’m an international student and I have only spent two years in the US, so I’ve only spent no more than two years in most of the clubs and activities.

bump bump bump!!!

bump…
