Chance me for Wellesley!

So I applied for Wellesley regular decision, and it's my first choice school. However I'm a little worried about some areas of my application, mainly my class rank and GPA. I feel like I'm qualified in all the other areas, so I'm helping that those factors will help me gain acceptance. If you can let me know what you think my chances are I'd really appreciate it!

-Private school in Atlanta, GA

-GPA: 3.215 (has increased significantly in the past two years, started at a 2.9, this is fully explained in my essay)

-Top 60% (this is where I'm worried... Once again this is caused by my earlier GPAs, but it has been explained in the essay and in the interview)

-SATs: CR: 640, M: 710, W:790 (Total 2140)

-Excellent essays (according to those who read them at least haha)

-Great teacher recommendations, one talks about how I made the transition from regular english to AP, something that has never been done at my school because it is so difficult to do.

-I Had an interview that I think went pretty well. The interviewer had a lot in common with me, similar educational background and struggles

-I've increased my course rigor in the past year after I worked diligently to increase my GPA. Full academic schedule this year. I took 2 math classes (calculus and AP Stat), continued my 4th year of French, Honors Econ, Honors Gov't, AP Lit, Journalism, required Bible courses)

-Editor in Chief of the Literary Magazine, actively involved in environmental club, Manager of Publications for Environmental Club, staff writer for the newspaper, lots of charity work especially for the environmental club, secretary for the National Art Honors Society

Oh, I also attended the Yale Summer Session (took college level courses that covered the same amount of material that would be covered in a full semester in only 5 weeks. Classes offered to grad students, college students, and rising seniors) I got A-'s in both classes. (A writing seminar and Modern American literature)

Wellesley looks at your app very holistically, so if your essays, ECs, and recs are good then you do have a chance. The GPA thing is worrisome, but an upward trend is nice. I don’t know for sure, honestly, but all you can do is be otimistic right?
Also do you by any chance go to Marist?

Nope, I go to Wesleyan. Very close to Marist though.
Yeah, the GPA is what’s scaring me but the upward trend looks good. If I had the same GPA that I did last year and last semester, I’d be in the top 20 or 30% of my class.
