<p>Hi all,</p>

<p>If anyone would be interested in giving me some honest feedback, I'd really appreciate it! I'm planning on applying to Wesleyan ED 1. Here are my stats:
GPA: 4.6/5 (Top 10%)
I come from a really competitive public school in CT. I think this makes it harder to get in because so many qualified people are applying, but at the same time the admissions counselors know how hard it is to get good grades.
ACT: 33. 34 English, 33 Math, 34 Reading, 29 Science.
For EC, I'm captain of our sailing team and I've been on the team for all four years. I also did swim team for the first two years of high school. I'm part of NHS and I also work in a office part time. I play guitar in my free time, but not through the school or anything. I've done two internships (one for a PR company and another working at a school). I would really appreciate any feedback or advice. Thanks!</p>

<p>If financial aid is not an issue I would definitely apply EDI. Competition from other Connecticut and New England area residents is intense. However, you’re applying at a good time in terms of the Wesleyan sailing team; still a club sport, they are nevertheless competing in a growing number of regattas and are in an expansionary period. Not sure if it’s a hook, but, it’s worth looking into.</p>
