8th grade stuff doesn’t matter. We also need to see GPA and test scores. Still several years of HS to go.

The most compelling part of any applicant’s package is their personal reasons for becoming an officer in the US military during a time of war. Have you thought about yours?

My gpa is 96.25 out of 100 weighted. I took 5 honors classes and we only get weighted grAdes. I want to become an officer because I was so affected by 9/11 as a child and since have wanted to serve my country. 12 of my friends dads died and everytime I have a challenge I think of them and it keeps me going

All I can say is, keep up the good work? Judging by your attitude and past accomplishments, I’d say you’re well on your way. Take AP classes of subjects you enjoy, keep up the high school extra curriculars, and do your very BEST to score high on the standardized tests (PSAT, SAT, SAT Subjects, ACT). These are deciding factors.

Come back in a few years with your 9th-11th grade GPA and other scores, we’ll be better at chancing you then. Good job for aspiring to serve.
