Also, one question! If I am applying to the Jerome Fisher M&T Program, can I be rejected from that and still be accepted to Wharton?

Thank you guys

Hi,

Just to let you know, PSAT scores aren’t factored into admissions.

Also, you CAN be rejected from M & T and get accepted into Wharton. See the ED/RD results thread for more details.

Thanks for the response. So if I get rejected from M&T for early decision, can I still get accepted to Wharton early decision? Or do they just put me into the regular decision pool?

Are you asian? I can feel the asian-ness right after I opened the link (and before I saw the 800 on Chinese SAT2)

To be honest, I see no difference between you and the next applicant… Probably write honest and stellar essays would be my best suggestion. good luck!

@OP: Yes, you can get into Wharton ED if you get rejected from M & T ED…see the ED results threads from the Class of 2014 and 2015 for more details!

@texasian: How so? He has state awards in FBLA and performed an internship at MIT…not many have that. At least the latter. And even then, how many are state champions of FBLA?

Thank you for the information! I still want some more opinions!

Your grades/test scores look really stellar, as do your internships. I think you’d have a good shot with M&T .

How the hell did you do so many internships? Houston, Cambridge, you’ve been all over. Plus a publication. Jeez. Extremley impressive track record. I assume a virtual lock for Wharton, and a very strong shot at M+T.

@hardworking: Are you a student here? If so, you should know this is not top-notch stellar MUST get into M&T credentials (or any top school). I’m not saying the applicant has no chance or anything close to that, just that he will need to distinguish himself more in his applications. Also, I’m a state champion in FBLA–that just means first place. Let’s see how many are: there’s gotta be more than 30 events, each has a winner so at least 30 something “champions”…in each state.

@texasian: Fair enough (on the FBLA note). But an internship at MIT? I mean, to be frank, that’s pretty rare. I think we’re on the same page; the OP’s profile is not anything that MUST get him, but is still pretty good.

woooo000oowowwwwwww guarenteed in!

Internship at schools/ institutions are actually not all that difficult to get. Regardless, the poster has good stats, but as I said internships are not very rare, and in some schools/classes (like my Science Research class) they are required of students anyway.

This is rather stellar! however, we are talking about UPENN… so Do not listen to bigaznbamf. i do not think you have a chance
