Chance me for Wharton ED please

I posted this in the general chance forum, but didn't really get any responses. My first choice (hence the ED) is Wharton, so I'd love to get some feedback

Rank: School neither ranks nor release val GPA (definitely top 1% though and likely to be val)

Counselor Rec: Haven’t seen it, but it’s a large public school so it’s going to be generic

I feel like my ECs are a bit scattered, and not as business-oriented as I would like. However, I’ve done a lot of economics and financial topics at my MUN/Model Congress conferences, so I’ll try to find good ways to include that on my app. Also, I realize my ECs are a bit weak... and I'm Asian...

And yeah, I know this is a crapshoot, but I’d still like to know how bad of a crapshoot it is.

I think you have a great shot! You’re a obviously very hard worker, so much ambition! …but Penn gets hundreds of applicants who are a lot like you, you know. Stress what makes you unique and less “cookie-cutter” Ivy league applicant. Of course you ought to keep the excellent academics and ECs, but do you have the “it” factor? I’d say if you prove that you do have it (in your essays) then you’re in.

That being said, would you chance me? But after seeing all the other Penn loving students with their resumes, I think I might be better off applying somewhere less selective. Please check out my thread! Please please :)

Good shot.

Lol your ECs are not weak and are definitely business-oriented…
