Excellent essays - the Penn supplement definitely shows that I'm very enthusiastic about Penn/Wharton and I've done my research.

Here's how I view my strengths/weaknesses for Penn admissions:

Strengths - Good stats, can't really be improved that much (besides SAT US Hist. and Comp Sci A), Great essays, Commitment (ED plus I'm very business-minded and fit in well with Wharton)

Weaknesses - Not URM/Legacy/Athlete, just a white kid from an affluent suburb with good academics, Average extracurriculars

So, what do you think?? I really freaking want to go to Wharton.

Your scores are very good, but your EC’s are a little weak.

Yeah I definitely agree, I’m just not sure how much that will hurt me.

Very sexy EC’s.

Nice scores! Just one question: do you really show that you’re very business-minded rather than just stating it?

Thanks for the feedback guys. As far as showing an interest in business, in my essay I mentioned a finance/economics research paper that I did last year as well as an event that I attended where I interacted with MBA lecturers/professors and how that sparked my interest in business/finance. Also, I explain my academic interest in finance, math, and statistics in pretty great detail in my app.
