Chance me for Whitman?

I think test scores matter more in financial aid, not so much decisions for Whitman. I did however get a 30 on the ACT which is comparably higher than a 1650. I am worried about finance but the only way to know is to apply and see what happens!

Oh my gosh I just got my ACT score back and it is a 33!!! Anyone have a new chance?

Congratulations thirdplanet! Of course, a higher test score enhances your chances everywhere. Good luck.

A bit of a late reply (sorry), but I’m a current Whitman student and I was admitted with a 33 as well. I don’t know if that will be like “instant admit” status, but I know from experience that you can get accepted with that score. Honestly, I can’t give you a good estimate of a chance but if you’ve worked hard on all your application materials and your interview went well, it’s kind of in the hands of the admission officers now. But I’m glad that you’re so excited about Whitman, and I wish you the best of luck!
