<p>Socioeconomic status is also a minority factor when considering admission. I know that half the students at Williams get and don’t get financial aid, which I’m sure is a ratio the college works to keep. Technically they are need-blind, but I feel like they do sneak a quick peek only for this purpose (aka meeting the “quota” of low SES). <p>I’m kind of surprised that you didn’t get into Dartmouth. Oh well, their loss. Williams admissions is kind of random but even if you don’t end up there I think that you’ll end up somewhere good.</p>
