Chance me for Yale, Brown, Duke, Boston College?

“I think if you were to apply ed to duke youd stand a chance, maybe also look at cornell and darthmouth…i feel like you could even be overqualified for a school like bc so maybe use that as a safety, but i think you improve your chances if you apply to a school you really like early decision, something im not doing because i cant decide on a specific school”

Thats what I was thinking but when I visited some of these schools they told me that applying ED doesn’t really increase your chances.

“Colleges will know where you rank, are top of class? What percentage of your school goes to ivies? Have you excelled in any EC? Are you good enough in any sport to be recruited?”

There are usually 3 or 4 people a year from the senior class of about 160-170 who go to ivies. I’m not good enough to be recruited for lacrosse to the schools I want to go to and I am probably 3rd, 4th, or 5th in my class (just an estimate)

And the reason I’m thinking about economics is because it is such a broad topic that covers a lot of subjects like marketing, finance, etc. But I may just put myself as undecided because I’m really not 100% sure.
