<p>Just about every kid on CC calls their school competitive. A MA prep school were 3-4/160 goes to an ivy is not seen as competitive by top schools. By contrast, top prep schools send 30% plus to ivies. Good but not highly competitive ones 10% plus. So ivies will look for you to have a top rank.</p>
<p>If you are 3 or 4 with a 1510, Yale will be very tough. Brown will be too, but more in the realm of reasonable reach with maybe a 25% chance. Duke is more realistic with maybe a 40% chance. BC is the right level of selectivity, but being from MA makes it tough because they need kids from all over. Schools not in the NE at that level of selectivity are good targets for you.</p>
