Really? No opinions yet? Any advice would be appreciated.

I think with your grades and test scores you are certainly in the realm of possibility for Yale. Your ECs are also good enough, but they aren’t standout enough to be sure. Yale is just extremely hard to get into - I wouldn’t be surprised at all if you got in, but it is by no means a sure thing. It makes sense for you to be admitted, but with the thousands of highly qualified applicants they deny, it would also make sense for you not to be.

I think if you get into TASP, your chances will increase for any HYPSM school. That will stand out. Many qualified applicants, like yourself, get rejected. But if you apply to all HYPSM, you are bound to get into one. Maybe not Yale. You have an amazing chance though, better than most people.

Bump. And also, I was waitlisted to TASP, so I will probably be doing HSHSP instead.

HSHSP is a very well respected program, and it will also help your chances. I’d say you have a good shot, but they do turn down a lot of qualified applicants. Just be sure to write stellar essays. Good luck!

^thanks a ton. I appreciate it.

Bump
