mathemonster - You are gonna be a Yalie very soon. Awesome profile.

BTW what’s your ELO ratings?

I don’t see any olympic medals for squash…

Seriously, do you really need the ego boost?

Everything’s solid. You have a good chance.

Have fun at Yale.

it really seems like you don’t have that extra “x factor” to push you over the edge. Plus you are asian.

Good shot IMO. GPA is a bit weak (if its weighted). Otherwise, application is pretty flawless. Only problem is most people applying to Yale have similar credentials so it comes down to the essays. good luck

yea I am a bit worried my GPA is a bit low, but maybe this is just how my school does it— I only have 1 A- in all of high school the rest are A’s.

@hareeeshna its around 1900
@cubs squash isn’t an olympic sport ;P

What??? You have 1900 ratings and you are among the top 100 US players. In my country, if you have even 2000, you have no chances in top 10000.

^its because India goes by FIDE ratings this is uscf

Okkkkkk…

You have the goods for Yale, now the question is whether Yale will have a spot for you, an overrepresented Asian. Hopefully they will! You’ve done everything possible, so apply, and good luck!

Wow… congratz. I see big packages for you in december and april.

Superb stats. A bit too focused on math though, so make sure to make it a passionate subject in your essays.

BOOLA BOOLA BOOLA!!!
i got in.
