Chance me for Yale? (unusual case)

Just visited Yale and loved it, but I don’t want to get my hopes up.
I’m a rising senior all girl catholic high school in Chicago where I have a scholarship for my entrance exam score.

EC:
National Honors Society
4 years of tennis (2 at varsity level)
2 years of a cappella choir (super competitive, we sung at the vatican in 2014)
volunteer at Make a Wish

Academics:
4.0 GPA
33 ACT
AP courses: world history, chemistry, literature, english language, psychology

Personal:
Make a Wish recipient
I have epilepsy and had 2 major neurosurgeries during my sophomore year (I missed about half the school year)
I have an IEP for brain damage
I am low income and a DV survivor - my mom finally divorced my dad when he was acting up during my surgery recovery

I am not into the greek scene and my general interests are animal biology, astronomy, neuroscience, and the humanities.
Appreciate any feedback

Your scores and grades would put you in the ballpark, but with Yale’s low admission rate, every application is a reach. Since you mentioned your health, I would suggest you seriously speak to your medical team to see if the high stress environment of Yale would be conducive to your overall health. Also, will there be medical personnel familiar with your medical history to monitor your health and any emergencies which may be beyond the capacity of the Yale Health Center. I don’t know how far you live from New Haven, but kids can panic when they are sick and far from home - even for more minor conditions. You may want to take that into consideration.

If you are accepted, Yale will do everything possible to accommodate you but only you, your family and your medical team can determine if it is a good way to go.

If you have any other specific questions during the process, please reach out. You can also look up medical accommodations or contact the school with any specific questions.

Good luck!!!

Found the title of your other post, which was by the mom not daughter, to be interesting:
Can a disability (epilepsy) be an advantage?
Wishing you much good health and happiness wherever your daughter studies.

If there’s any confusion, I used the account my mom set up to pose this question.

Your ECs are light. What chance you can pump those up? A disability isnt a tip. How one overcomes can be impressive. But you still need to understand what Yale (or any top school) looks for and show that in all your app, including activities and essays. It’s not just about circumstances and stats. Or what you want.

That type of confusion is precisely why this is not allowed. Per Terms of Service:
