- Most likely President of the National Spanish Honor Society
- Volunteer at the library, 100 hours
- Internship at a five-star hotel in Asia, learned about hotel industry and world-class service</p>

- A TON of swimming awards...scholar athlete, All-State team, etc. I'm not fast enough for the Ivies though.
- Some piano awards, but I received them during middle school. I performed a 27-page concerto in front of an audience of 400 people and another concerto for a benefit concert, but this was also during middle school...
- In violin, I learned a four movement Haydn quartet in three weeks with no prior instruction playing at such a high level. I practiced eight hours per day!</p>

<p>I haven't read any recommendations but they're probably decent. My essays were pretty good.</p>

<p>Both my parents went to Yale and my grandparents taught there for forty years. Does this increase my chance of admission?</p>

<p>The best anyone here can do here for an asian/white is predict if Yale is a reach or out of reach. </p>

<p>In your case, it’s a reach since you have the requisite stats, so your admission will depend now entirely on essays, interview, and luck.</p>
