Hey, was wondering if I could get a chance for U-M and pre-admit Ross coming from Australia. Here are my stats:

SAT I: 2220
SAT II: 800 Maths II, 760 Chemistry
Rank: top 40% (I'll explain later)
Predicted Year 12 score in top 3% of the state

ECs: Library Monitor for 6 years (incl. supervision of year 7s for 2 years)
Latin for 6 years and commended at the finals of a latin reading competition
Duke of Ed bronze and silver, doing gold (incl. 2 hiking camps for each award, music, sport and community service)
Rowing - 4 Summer seasons 2 winter seasons
Violin 6 years, flute 4 years + in a band
Philosophy club 3 years
Chemistry olympiad (cover year 12/uni chemistry in year 11 for an exam to qualify into the australian team)

Those are just my EC highlights, have more but not quite as good but still aren't 'filler' activities, I pursue them for a reasonable length of time as well.

So as you can see my class rank is pretty poor. That's because I go to a very competitive high school in Australia which gets a few people in ivy's every year even though almost no one applies. To give you some idea my friend got a 2300 SAT and is just outside the top 20% of the school and he's not a slacker or anything. My class rank would place me in the top 3% of the state.

So any kind of chance of whether i'd get into U-M or Ross would be great, thanks!
