<p>Hi, I was wondering what my chances are of getting into Georgetown and George Washington University. I am a white male with no special ethnic background or what not.</p>

Weighted GPA- 4.74</p>

<p>Last Year I took IB Econ Sl and received a 6 on the exam.</p>

<p>I have taken the following AP Exams and received 4s and 5s on all of them.</p>

AP Microeconomics
AP English Literature and Composition</p>

<p>My SAT Scores are a little low</p>

Math- 750
Reading- 720
Writing- 720</p>

<p>Extracurriculars (also a little weak)</p>

<p>Member of National Spanish Honors Society- Will be applying for officer position- 3 years

Founding Member of 4evr in r <3 (a non-profit organization that donates money to a domestic violence shelter)- 4+ years

Volunteer at Local Domestic Violence Organization- 2 years
Currently applying for an internship at my local candidate for congress's campaign</p>

<p>The IB diploma definitely gives you an edge, and your SAT isnt bad - Georgetown rejects people with perfect scores if they dont seem to fit right with the university. Tailor your extracurriculars to match whatever course you’re applying to and I’m sure you’ll be fine:))
