I think you have a good chance at Georgetown. Your academics and extracurriculars are very impressive. I would say it is a high match school for you because it is very competitive. Good luck!

ohhh so youre a junior? I mean for Georgetown they have Early Action but I did RD because I missed the dead line lol Yeah same my numbers are like Average but my extras are really good. The thing is if I were you I would send a resume to georgetown because they application only had like 5 places to write stuff down

btw, did you submit any recommendations by people from the community when you applied to georgetown? it’s possible for me to use one from the archbishop of atlanta but idk if georgetown really cares about that kind of thing…

and ya i’m a junior. some of the things on here are projections. but i’m taking/have taken all but 8 of those ap’s (senior year). oh dang, really? i wanna get my hands on one of their app’s so i can see what it’s gonna look like in the fall. so you sent in a resume WITH your app, or just squeezed it onto the form?

How did you fit all of those APs on your schedule? haha like this year I took Eco AP, Gov AP, Eng Lit A, Calc AB AP, Environ. Science AP and thats all I could fit because I had like cheer and german. Just make sure that you dont drop your GPA that much senior year. I had a 4.0/4.0 but I dropped it to 3.98/4.0 haha its not much but it was still annoying.

but yeah I sent my resume with my app becuase there wasnt much to squeeze in! haha and Oh bring a resume to your interview because my interviewer wanted to take it home with her and look at it. I applied for International Business!

This may be wrong, but I’ve heard that Georgetown puts a large emphasis on SAT scores - that is to say, if you have a 2200+ but average/below average stats otherwise, you’re likely to get admitted.

we can get 8 credits/year at my school, and i took 1 ap freshman year, 2 last year. this year i’m in 7, and next year i’ll be taking 8 (all ap’s). ya if i get all a’s, then it will be a 4.49 by the end of senior year. but my friend is #4 right now and he has over a 4.5 already.

i wanna do international business, too! if i don’t get into gtown, then i might just do poli sci at duke or vandy or somewhere. or i might do international business at tech. idk.

oh awesome… where did you hear that? i took it yeaterday and i’m projecting about a 1950 (horrible at math - prob a 550). but that’s easy to improve, so i’m thinking a 2100 will be possible without too much effort…lol or worshiping the SAT.

ya duke would be pretty cool…but not my first choice lol. i feel like duke and vandy and upenn and stuff…i dunno…they’re all just so traditional. overachievers always go for places like that. gtown is just the best thing lol…

well if we combined identities we’d have a killer superscore (i can’t believe i just said that ha)

I just wanna get in somewhere good haha but yeah like i went to the georgetown interview and it really made me want to go there. It seemed amazing

I know serioiusly I sucked at the critical reading portion so badly
the act is good too I got a 31 which is like a 2100
