Major: Computer Science

UMich: reach for CoE, low reach for LSA (both have computer science). Avg GPA3.83, AVG SAT ~2080 for 2012.
UIUC: Match
Georgia tech: Match
UT Austin: High Match

Is that Avg. GPA for LSA or CoE, and what is the difference in the computer science major for LSA and CoE? Will better companies hire from CoE?

They don’t have separately stat for LSA and CoE, but we know the CoE is more competitive. There is little difference between the 2.

I think UT-Austin will be a stretch since you are OOS. Not many spots left for non-Texas residents. Increase the SAT to get a better chance.
