<p>I took two classes at Stony Brook over the summer (Living world & Intro to Philosophy)</p>
<p>The acceptance rate was like 40.1% which is low, but not too low. I think with your scores you would be able to get in, especially if you have good essays. But just in case, apply to some safeties. Though, in my not professional in any way, opinion I’d say like 80 to 20 for you getting in vs. not. </p>
<p>It completely depends on your major. If you’re trying to get into Watson or Harpur or SOM, then no, it’ll be a strech. But, if your major is philosophy or something else of that matter, then yes, you have have good shot.</p>

Your SAT is definitely low for Binghamton, as is your UW gpa. There’s a huge jump between your UW and W so I’m not sure how the school will calculate it… really good recommendations might push you in, but I’d definitely line up some safeties. Good luck!</p>
