You can get in UCLA and NYU as a full payer. But to get into NYU film school is harder. Likely same with UCLA but they just started direct admits to film recently and I don’t know the data on that. NO USC?
The others are very difficult admits (unless you mean University of Rhode Island) and may hinge on your arts supplement. but you are in the running… Published in what? The ladies auxiliary gazette or McSweeney’s? Sent to Cannes and what? Going to be sitting in the dead letter office and returned to sender? I hope you didn’t send all that supplemental material!
I can’t tell if you courses are good with the business and accountancy and no sciences but maybe you have already done it. Good luck.

Applied as full payer to NYU and UCLA.
Missed the USC deadline.
Published in local newspapers and short story books.
Any other opinion?
@mohitchauhan - You are a strong candidate for most colleges, but in this case all the Ivies and Stanford and even NYU (because you’re interested in film) are a reach and some of them HIGH reach. Your only safety here is Rhode Island (whether you mean Rhode Island College or University of Rhode Island). If I were you, I would find some schools that are matches…you don’t really have any of those (perhaps UCLA, but I’m not sure about that). There have to be some schools that offer study in film making that aren’t so hard to get into or so easy to get into. Go find some of those.
Are you applying to Tisch Film School at NYU, and to other dedicated film programs? If so, it’s impossible to “chance,” because so much depends on your portfolio review and they are some of the most selective schools in the country (Tisch Film has a lower acceptance rate than Harvard). If you meant Rhode Island School of Design, its admissions will also be heavily determined by your artistic submission. I think that Columbia, Yale, Stanford, and Harvard are all reaches for you, as they are for everyone. If your supplements were truly extraordinary, you might have a chance. I hope that you have some academic safeties. You are a strong applicant, but you have a very “top-heavy” list.
As I said before, there is no point whatsoever in discussing the OP’s chances if he is applying to the Tisch School at NYU. If he is applying to the College of Arts & Sciences, then it is, indeed, a high match.
@stepay @woogzmama @Catria
Actually I also have NYFA and NYIT as my safeties. As I have 4 colleges in the UK.
But these are the primary colleges that I want to attend.
Any other comments or chances?
The reason why I could even give a chance in the first place was because the OP mentioned English as a potential major, in which case the OP may well be applying to a non-Tisch unit at NYU. Or a non-film unit at UCLA.
I would have suggested some other schools, such as Columbia College Chicago as an absolute safety; Temple as a near-safety; and Emerson as a solid match. As it is, Harvard, Yale, Stanford, and Columbia are reaches for everyone. UCLA is probably a high-match/low-reach, if the OP is applying for Arts & Sciences (depending on how his UC-weighted GPA translates); a BFA Film program is probably a reach. NYU Arts & Sciences is a match; Tisch is a reach for everyone; Gallatin is quirky, but probably a high-match. I still haven’t understood whether OP is applying to RISD or URI. URI is probably safe; RISD is impossible to predict, because the portfolio submission is the most critical element in his application.
