The default answer for those school is that they are all reaches.

That’s what I think too and it’s ok. I’ve got many great options that aren’t from that tier.

@pdwm56 Stanford and Harvard are the most competitive schools in the country, they are absolute lottery schools for any qualified student who isn’t a major prodigy/nationally recognized scholar/olympic athlete or a super-hooked applicant. Yale might be a tad more attainable but for all intents and purposes it is also a crapshoot for normal qualified students.

I think you should definitely try it. But you need to consider some alternative choices just in case.
