Well, I’ve been talking to many people who have been accepted into UCF (from this site, actually). A girl just replied to me today, saying her friend had made it in, last year, I think, with a 19 ACT score and a low GPA. Don’t strike yourself out before you even step up to the plate:)

Thanks I’m trying lol. I hope they take into account that I’m in IB and stuff like that

Yes, I really hope they take into consideration EC’s, and CS. I have a TON of community service, from coaching a cheerleading team for 3 years. I really hope they notice orchestra to, or the fact that I’ve been forcing myself to play violin for the past nine years! lol

Yeah I’m sure they will. UCF is big on CS. You’ll be fine.

Ah, thank god! Well, I wish you the best of luck. I’m confident you’ll make it in. Cross my fingers I’ll make it in, too. If so, maybe I’ll see you around. Nice meeting you!:)

Only as a side note and in “NO WAY” am I offering you any advice but rather a “PERSONAL” suggestion;
My mom and I have been reading these boards and have been gaining excellent suggestions from many of the board members, I have noticed on this thred that you indicated that your ambition is to ----
““I am looking to get a master’s in clinical psychology””

My mom has a PHD in forensic psychology and is a professor of a major university here in Miami ( guess ), she always advises her students that in todays economic environment, if one is seeking a degree in psychology, then either strive for a terminal / doctorate degree or seek another course of school work !

No need to mention it, i’ve already changed my major:) began thinking the same statements your mom said. I’m either interested in buissnes manegment and advertising, or perhaps hospitality:)
