Chance me, help decide on schools.

Hello,

GPA: 3.3
Unweighted: 3.8

Going into my Junior Year (schedule: AP Lit, AP Gov, APES, Intro to Stats), so I am def trying to raise my GPA to at least a 3.5+.

Some colleges I really want to attend:

NYU
U of Tampa
U of Miami
UCLA
Loyola Marymount
Chapman University
Northeastern
BU
Santa Clara
Pepperdine

ECs:

Freedom Writers Club, Portuguese Club, Youth Leadership Council, Student Government.

Taking SAT/ACT this year.

Ive taken ALL honors classes, and 1 Ap (AP Lang).

I'm from Mass, want to go to Cali, Florida or NYU. The only schools in boston Ill consider is BU and Northeastern.

chances & other school suggestions?

Definitely raise GPA to at least 3.5 and shoot for a 30+/2000+ on ACT/SATs. Good Luck!

If you’d consider such urban schools as BU and Northeastern, you should take a look at University of San Francisco. Seattle University (although outside of your geographic preference) also has a very urban campus.

Bump !!!

What’s your class rank? Also, why is your weighted GPA .5 lower than your unweighted?

UCLA is almost impossible unless you’re a genius or instate

Weighted is higher because I’ve taken all honors and AP. class rank about 50 of 620.
