Chance Me/Help me/Questions

Hello, I'm a new community college freshmen and I have a few questions. I've been lurking around this site for a few months now in order to search, but it's all so conflicting. I thought I'd just ask what people think. I was one of those lazy, intelligent people in high school that just got by on being there and doing my work. I did fairly well in high school but now I want to actually make an effort and go to a good college because I know I have the ability to. Also, I was an idiot in HS and didn't complete my Fine Arts requirement for UC's and thus was rejected from all of them (Stupid mistake about not having my Fine Arts class at a CC being credited as a Fine Arts. I made the mistake of not checking Assist.org) Actually, it's become a sort of craze now. I'm obsessed with researching transfers and my nights are spent reading forums and thread after thread. So, someone chance me and tell me what do you believe I need to do to get into the schools that I'm aiming for.

High school:
3.5 GPA
Took all Pre-IB (Freshmen + Sophomore) and all IB (Junior + Senior)
Took 6 IB tests and received my IB Diploma
3 years of Mock Trial
4 years Varsity Tennis player
SAT: 1900 (600 Reading, 660 Math, 640 Writing)
SAT II: (540 Bio M, 620 Chem, 610 Math 2)
ACT: 29
Accepted into: University of the Pacific, San Jose State, and San Francisco State
Rejected from: UCB, UCLA, UCD, UCSB, Cal Poly, and UPenn

CC:
Planned Major: Business Administration / Economics
3.9 GPA (So far)
Planning on joining Alpha Gamma Sigma, Phi Beta Lamda, and the Business Club
Two jobs: One as an AVID tutor for my school, and another doing private tutoring

Colleges I plan to apply to: UCB, UCLA, UCD (TAG), UPenn, Stanford, Cornell, Duke, and Columbia
(I'm honestly not worried about the UC's as much as the privates, because I have UCD as my backup with TAG, but I'd really like some suggestions for both the privates and uc's)

Questions:

Should I retake the SAT/ACT if i'm applying as a junior transfer?
What would be the next step I should take in making my application look more solid?
Does the IB diploma benefit my application significantly?
Would it be wise/suggested to get an internship?
What can I do to be capable of being accepted into an Ivy league?

I'm sorry if it feels like I'm asking for a lot. I would just like some guidance after all this researching because I feel like I'm getting confused and lost and my counselor isn't helpful at all.

Thank you in advance

Bump…

u have good chances for almost guaranteed for all UCs except, UCB and UCLA may depend on your Personal Statement

but sorry, Ivy league and Stanford are not very likely, to everyone

for example, MIT recevied alomst 300 applicants, but only accepted no more than 20. almost same with other Ivys. and most of them require SAT/ACT

So does the IB diploma give me any advantage? Lol.

Bump.

I would also like to know if being an IB diploma recipient helps a community college graduate’s chances of getting a transfer spot at top-tier schools

To clarify, let’s assume that SAT scores and GPAs are at or above school norms.

Heemanshoe, I would definitely recommend retaking the SAT. Aim for a 700+ M and CR, and at least a 650 W.

Also, write some bad-a** essays.

I guess colleges don’ require your SAT/ACT scores once you’ve completed 2 years at a CC or have completed 60 credits.
Plus the HS grades become relatively insignificant too!! …I guess I read that somewhere!
