Your ECs are great and show a lot of commitment but its difficult to chance further since an SAT score or ACT score isnt supplied.

What else could I do to stand out as an Econ major besides being a research assistant and an intern, or is what I am doing enough?

your work experience looks great especially if youre pursuing economics. What you have is extraordinary but there’s never really a such thing as “enough” so i think you should take all the math classes your school offers, take both math subject tests for the SAT, and just excel in areas related to economics.

If you get in the 2200-2300s on your SAT, and you get great SAT II math scores and you have a good GPA [by senior year] apply to UPenn, they have a great school for economic crazed students.

Thanks, but I am more geared towards getting into Princeton early admission…do I have a shot?

Your ECs really stand out, but nothing can truly be said until you put in SAT scores.

Oh i see, I am hoping to get a 2400 on the sat, 240 on the PSAT, and 800 on both the us history and lit subject tests…if that occurs how does my chances look for early decision Princeton?

uh…a perfect score is amazing. It’s very, very difficult though. If you do manage to get that, that is terrific and is certainly something for the school to consider but you must also consider this, each of those ivy league schools receives near-perfect to perfect scores all the time, so just to squeeze into the “lets actually look at this applicant’s stuff” pile, you have to have a very high SAT score. Your ECs will determine if you get in or not most likely.

chance back

What else could I do then being my major is economics in order to stand out? Like I am doing an internship and a research assistant position…do you have any other suggestions?

Anyone else who can give advice on my resume?

Anyone want to help me…please!!!

How are my chances for Georgetown and Duke for Economics?
