Here’s my assessment:

Generally speaking I think your chances are quite good. Your SAT Is are around the 75th%-tile and your SAT IIs are strong, (IMO I see little value to retaking the SAT IIs; I don’t see how your profile appreciably changes by adding 10 or 20 points to your Bio/USH scores).

Your GPA (I assume weighted) is solid with 7 APs in the books and 6 more on the way. I’m confused though, you say your GPA is in an upward trend “since 11th grade”. What was it doing in 9th and 10th grade? You’re outside the top 10%, but only by 1% so I don’t think that’s an issue.

To my way of thinking, you have 1 EC - Debate, (points 6, 7, 8, 9 & 11), in which you have shown some level of accomplishment and leadership. You also have a solid record of community service and volunteerism (points 4, 12). Personally I prefer a short but deep list of activities versus a shallow “phone book” of ECs.

On the downside, I see no sports or arts. Sports at a high school of 2,800 students is doubtlessly very competitive so that doesn’t bother me. The lack of Arts activities since 8th grade is a bit bothersome; have you “done” anything with your flute playing during high school? Band? Theater?.

Finally, you haven’t told us why BC is a place for you. I’ll assume you’ll have a good answer for that in your essay.

In closing, I think you’re a competitive candidate with a somewhat above average chance of being accepted.

Thanks for your valuable suggestions!!!
1.I will retake SATII, because I’m planning to take another 1-2 subjects(some schools require 3 SATII).
2.My GPA going up since 11th, because I took a lot of APs for 11th and 12th grade. Around 50 people dropped school for senior year(my school is 3,000+)- it seems even harder to make my 10% GPA.
3.Yes, you’re right. I didn’t do any band during Senior High School- I can not do the band and debate at the same time, plus I spent a lot of time for my research project.
4.Finally, I enjoy the ATMOSPHERE at the BC campus- I was growing up in New Haven, CT.
From there, took about 3 hours to greater Boston area. I had many wonderful momories there.

Thanks again!

I think you will get accepted. Very nice resume.
