I just want to make not that I am planning on going to University of Texas at Austin in the Fall because I don't think I meet the requirements to get into these schools. I am planning on transferring to these schools after my sophomore year at UT and hopefully I can shape up my life enough to get in. I just wanted to get some advice as to how I should go about my Senior year and my two upcoming years at UT in order to have a legitimate chance to transfer to these schools. Thank You!! :D

P.S. should I retake my SAT to try to get a better score, will it help my transfer application, is it worth trying to take it again.

I do not know whats your chance. But my friend, who scored 1350 (M+R+W) got into harvard. DONT GIVE UP!

I have never heard of a pakistani with an 1880 get into HYP. Try elsewhere…

Your essays can only save you.

These stuffs aren’t gonna let you IN in any.

dreamsunlimited: how do you think the essays are weighted?

I know that my grades and my SAT aren’t up to par but I am really considering transferring from UT Austin my Sophomore year. Firstly, is that a good idea if I do really do well in my classes there??? and Secondly, should I take my SAT’s again to try to get a better score???
