Okay, so I'm not a stellar student and I deferred my graduation.

Here's the thing, when I was in college, I was taking up Biology and I went through a depression phase and failed one whole year of my subjects and decided to take an informal exit. Informal meaning I haven't withdrawn from the school, I just didn't enroll for the following terms. I was studying in DLSU-Manila and because I had so much failures my GPA was only 1.70 out of 4.0

Since I was sneaking out of school a lot, I had so much free time so I started working secretly.
I became an academic researcher and writer for an Australian stock analyst firm. After that I became a loan consultant for a small financial company in Manila. When my family found out about all the things that I have done, they sent me to America and now I am currently working as an executive assistant in a property management company in Los Angeles.

Through the years of working I realized that my passion truly lies in business and not in Sciences. I was better at making sales than I was doing titrations.

So this year I decided to go back to school as a business major. I want to transfer to HKU because I like their BBA International Business and Global Management program, if I ever push through it will already be considered as a late application because from what I know January was their official deadline.

I just want to know what are my chances getting in? I know HKU only accepts the crème de la crème on the basis of GRADES but I was wondering if my work experiences might help me get through.
