Chance Me/How Much Can My Art Help With Being Accepted

Okay so I am a Junior and really like Middlebury.
My stats are:

GPA: 4.1 Weighted (5.3 Being an A+ in AP courses)
SAT: 2110: CR 690 Math 710 Writing 710
SATII: Bio 670, I plan on taking several more

I have always taken the most challenging courses available, 4 Honors Freshmen Year, 5 Honors and 1 AP Sophomore, (5), 4 APs and 3 Honors Junior Year. (Will be taking 5 AP exams)

Varsity Fencing 3 Years
Cross Country 3 Years
Physics Club 1 Year, (Will be officer next year).
Economics Club 2 Years, (Will be president/vp next year)
Outdoors Club
Analysis of Electron-Positron Collisions At State School
Volunteering At Local Environmental Center
National Honor Society
Employment as a Life Guard over the summer

And then as I said, a very good art portfolio. My teacher has said it will be able to help significantly in getting me into a very good school, (last year she told someone this, and despite their below average stats, they got into Cornell.)

I am wondering if I should be contacting the art professors, or if I will need to major in art for this to have any meaning. I wouldn't necessarily mind majoring in art, (I would probably also major in economics), but would prefer to just minor in it.

If I don't state that I am willing to major in it, will this have little sway? I would do almost anything to get into here or Williams and want to know what needs to be done for the art portfolio to have much sway.

Also, what are my chances? Any help would be excellent. Thank you!

It seems to me like you will have a pretty decent shot.
They say that you can submit art supplements without any intention of majoring in art, and it can still help you to get in, but I would think that if you indicate art as your major, your supplement will have more sway in your application.
good luck!
