<p>Hey so I'm a senior in high school and I want to apply to FSU and FAMU for the summer sessions (just to get a head start). I've taken all honors classes up until 10th grade and then I've been doing dual enrollment ever since. I graduate in May and I'll have an AA degree as well. My GPA is 3.57(uw) and 4.37(w) currently and right now I'm 30/80 for my senior class. </p>
<p>SAT score : not that great first time one sitting:1410 (retaking in November) ACT:19 </p>
<p>Member of NHS, NSHSS, PTK </p>
<p>Over 200 hours of community service </p>
<p>Several EC's( yearbook, church service, I have a wig company, I do hair, I cook, I do art, and I write.. There are more of course) </p>
<p>I'm transferring as soon as I get the AA, but I hate that I have to apply as a Freshman for housing and scholarship purposes. </p>
<p>My letters of recommendation I'm sure are extremely praising. </p>
<p>I won a Wells Fargo student sweepstakes this past summer also for 1k</p>
<p>And my essays will be extraordinary. </p>

<p>ur GPA is very good, surprising that your ACT is as low as it is, i think if you study as hard as u do in school, your ACT score can go up to a 30!</p>
<p>The average for FSU is: 3.9-4.7 weighted GPA; 26-30 ACT composite; 1730-1960 SAT total</p>
<p>So you’re GPA is good for them, but you’ll need to improve ur SAT/ACT.Your community service should help your chances too!</p>
<p>And if you’re confident in your essays that’s good! I say get those SAT’s up to a 1800 and ACT up to at least 27 and you’ll get in!</p>

<p>For FSU you’ll probably get in based on your GPA and you’re essays. Try and get your SAT’s up though. Good luck!

<p>Summer sessions are easier to get accepted into and admission requirements are more lenient so good choice. You have good chances for FAMU, but your chances aren’t as great for FSU unless you get your test scores up. Good luck though!
