----- Creator of chess club in school. Member of Peninsula Chess Center and Kolty Chess Center. Member of United States Chess Fed...chess has inspired me to make new board games...I invent new board games for fun.
----- 3rd President of Math Club in school history. Last year when I was only VP, I got second highest AMC 12 score in school (though I missed the AIME qualifying score by a question ...)
----- Vice President of the newly created Science Bowl team...I petitioned our school to offer AP Comp Sci..I talked to teachers, I got 50 signatures from students, and advertised it. It tried passing twice in the past, but it had failed. I made it happen. I've done "great service to the school by doing so" according to a teacher.

Additional info?
One additional rec from a professor I worked with in COSMOS..He's a Princeton grad
My two teachers have good stuff to say on rec letters. We know each other really well. One is of them is the only Stanford grad teacher in our school.

Our school is complete CRAP...no joke...around 6 people break a 2000 on the SAT each year...teachers have below a 40% passing rate for AP classes....we send about 5 people to UC Berkeley each year...no one's gotten into MIT and Yale for the past 10 years...maybe one person into Stanford each year....
Just this year, one of our school's teacher was arrested in charge of sexually assaulting a minor...and our Chief custodian is forced to quit his job for sexual charged against model minors...

I studied ALL my elementary years back in India. I came to America in middle school, so I guess that's a plus? That's why my CR score kinda sucks...

CR score sucks? did better than me.
anyway.
Your scores and EC’s all look good.
the out of country thing should help.
so you have a decent chance I’d say.
but you never know with Stanford.

Good luck!

chance me?
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/803550-ill-chance-you.html

^Haha thanks.

Anyone else? bump…

i don’t know for certain, maybe you’ll blow them (the admissions officers) away with your essays, but otherwise, i’d say you’ll most likely get a no. your ORM status definitely works against you, and many people will probably have better grades and higher test scores. your activities definitely separate you from everyone else, but i’m not sure if it’ll be enough.

I think it’ll be enough (for my sake as well since I’m riding on my ECs more than ORM status and mediocre test scores)
