*My safety schools are Colby, Lafayette and Michigan (already got in).

Here are my stats:

4.0 GPA (my school doesn't rank but I am probably in the top 5-10 people out of a class of 350)

2380 SAT (800V, 800W, 780M)

800 and 760 on 2 SAT IIs

I have taken the hardest course load at my school (4 APs up until this year - all 5s) and am taking another 3 this year.

I am an all-state trumpet player, editor of the school paper, president of the community service club, captain of the nationally-recognized quiz bowl team, and have helped found a service non-profit that has raised over $20,000 (and has been recognized by CNN).

Main Awards: National Merit Semifinalist, Cum Laude, Harvard Book Award, Cornell Book Award, AP Scholar with Honor, President's Volunteer Service Award, Scholastic Writing Award (National Gold Medal)

HYP-mid reach (reach for everyone, you have a great application though)
Dartmouth-low meach/high match
Brown-as close as you can be to a match for an ivy league school.
Rest-in

You have great academics and your non profit work is awesome.

Your best bet is Princeton, being a legacy. (I bet that is why you were deferred from Yale.) Dartmouth is a maybe with your brother there. You have the stats for all. The legacy hook will be the strongest tip.

Yale - reach; very few people are ever accepted after being deferred.
Dartmouth - low to mid reach
Princeton - low reach b/c of legacy
Brown - mid reach
Harvard - reach (because it’s Harvard)
Amherst - low reach
Williams - low reach
Middlebury - match
Georgetown - match

Yale (deferred EA): Reach, I agree with the post above
-Harvard, Princeton: you have the stats and you have a great shot but with those two schools, you really never know what will happen
-Amherst, Williams: high match
-Brown, Dartmouth: high match/low reach
-GTown: match
-Middlebury: match
