Hi! I am going to be a senior at a public high school this fall and am freaking out about all the college business. I am the oldest child in my family so my parents haven't yet been through the process, and we all have no idea as to what to expect. As a result I really need help to see where I stand.

My stats are as follows:

Academics:
GPA: 4.0 unweighted
Top 5% of my class
By graduation I will have taken 7 APs. At the moment I have these results in:
AP Language: 4
AP US History: 3
AP Biology: 4
SAT: CR 650, M 670, W 730
ACT: 30 composite (31 Reading, 32 English, 30 Math, 28 Science--11 on Writing)
SAT II: BIO: 700, LIT: 670, going to take US History in the fall.

Extracurriculars:
Civil Rights Team: Student Advisor (equivalent to president)
Student Gov't: Homeroom Rep. and School Board Rep.
Interact Club: Active member and community service volunteer
National Honor Society Member
French World Language Honor Society
Also, my mother and I organize and coordinate the local Meals on Wheels program outside of school.

Awards:
Williams College Book Award
Several student of the months awards
Student of the Year in English and Psychology

Athletics:
I am a nationally competitive equestrian. I ride and compete in the hunter/jumper discipline. Even during the school year I ride a minimum of 20 hours a week. In the summer, I am away at competitions nearly every other weekend. I am very involved and have won several awards. Though it is not a varsity sport at my school, my independent interest in riding requires both time and focus.

So, that is me in a nutshell. I know that my standardized test scores aren't anything to be proud of, but I just don't think that that is my strong point. This is where I need advice on whether or not the other aspects of my resume will do anything to improve my chances in applying.
