Thank you!

Those aren’t hooks.

Being melodramatic won’t improve anything, either. You have a great shot at some of those schools if you work hard to convey your interest.

keep trying to get pity for yourself your definately going no where, your doing great so far but with attitude… well idk

Do everything in your power to raise that sat reading score; take the SAT one last time in October. Make sure you take the AP computer science exam next may. If your school does not offer the class, buy the barron’s book, read it. Use the Stanford Java course as a supplement and learn some programming.

How are you getting an 800 on the writing but not the reading section of the SAT?

Judging by your attitude, you are a failure. Brighten up a bit and stop asking for a pity party. Your application looks great.

Oh come on you have very good grades I have no idea why you think you are a failure. I have a 2.9 and a mediocre SAT score and I am not thinking negatively. The trick is to have a positive attitude. You will only fail if you keep fixating on failure and having a bad attitude. But seriously, you should be extremely happy with your current application and I think you will do fine and will be very successful!

You can get into all of those schools. UCLA and USC won’t be a complete shoe-in, but I think with a 2000+ SAT and a 3.9 UW GPA you’ll be fine. The only “negative” thing for admissions is that you are Asian, but keep in mind that UCLA is something like 30% Asian. They can’t all have as good of numbers as you do. In fact, I believe that you may have exceeded some of the 25th to 75th SAT percentiles at least for UCLA.

Good luck. I wouldn’t be surprised if you had a clean sweep with the schools you’re applying to. I’m not sure how hard it is to get into computer science, but if its mostly the same as other majors, you’ll be fine

I agree with most on here, you’re fine. Many students would LOVE to have your grades and GPA. Just keep working hard.

By the way, 5 B’s in your first three years in high school is phenomenal, even if those are final grades. You’re taking a rigorous schedule. Lighten up! :)

Sad…10chars

Oh you Asians and your “failures” for a 2000+ SAT…

You will most likely get into Berkeley and UCLA.

And for all the people saying she has a bad attitude: lay off a bit. It’s not like she was begging for sympathy. I didn’t know the CC community was so contemptuous.
