if your SATs were over 2100 alot of the Ivies would be match, other than that your history (essay)/academic record/EC’s look outstanding

Though your SAT I is a bit low, from what I can see, your other stats info can surpass that minor weakness. Because you are so gifted intellectually and socially, and being a URM, I would say you will get in to all with your toughest being HYP. But that essay about your brother may push you into the admit ;-). Just how bad were your 1st quarter grades if I may ask?

They were pretty bad low to mid 80s and one 76 in ap english but my guidance cons. Is sending in an explanation of the grades so I think that might hurt me…ugh 10 days

I think you will probably get deferred ED from Duke but I think you’re in at UMich, Tulane, BC, and probably Emory. I think the rest are slight reaches but you have a shot for sure.

decent chance to every college except yale, princeton, and harvard. duke is slight reach, but with ED and everything, i think you have rought 40% chance getting in. good luck!

All i know about is Duke stats pretty much, and you definitely have a shot.
The only thing i would say negatively is your SATs don’t seem to be in their middle 50%, and maybe not an auto-accept for your grades… but with ED there’s always a little wiggle room.

with being a minority and your background, i would say it’s a high reach.
GOOD LUCK!

i think your GPA will hurt you in general along with your SATs so it would depend a lot on your essays and recommendations. for schools like the ivies the scores and GPAs mean a lot but so does the weight of your transcript, which is a plus. I’d give you pretty average stats for cornell and upenn. harvard yale and princeton are high high high reaches but i’m pretty confident in the ED for Duke as long as your essays come off the right way. Good luck!

Hey I think that your personal history is incredible. Be sure that your counselor talks alot about it in the counselor’s report. You’re SATs are low in that you did not break 2000 but your subject test scores are terrific. Also, you’ve got the minority thing working for you. However, you’re gpa is low. But I assume that you’re extra curriculars do a good job of showing who you are and what you are passionate about. They are also interstng. I think you’ve got a good mix of schools you’re applying to.

Mich = match
Tulane = in
Princeton = high reach
Upenn = reach
Boston College = low reach, high match
Yale = high reach
Harvard = high reach
Emory = in
Vanderbilt = in
Cornell = reach
Duke ED = you have a good shot at getting IN

For Ivies, your SAT score and GPA are not fantastic. You have some good EC’s though a lot of hooks. Your essay is probably very moving. That said…
