<p>Hi, i'm going to be a senior this year, and i'd kinda like to know where I'm currently standing. So if anyone has the time, could they chance me on the following schools:</p>

<p>I didn't put all of them cuz I know there are a lot, so that's why i said if you have time.</p>

<p>Anyways, here are my stats:</p>

<p>I am NOT in the top 10% of my class</p>

<p>I PLAN to MAYBE take SAT I again to try to break 2200, or maybe take SAT II Bio.
I want to take an online course at that BYU independent study thing for Bio.</p>

<p>Oh yeah, I plan to MAYBE major in Psych. Neuroscience, or Bio or something.</p>

<p>Also, if you can, could u guys tell me if choosing which major would affect my chances?</p>

<p>Id say your stats are pretty much right on the mark for all these schools. <p>Your ECs are good, Your SATs are swell, but your GPA is very low for someone as smart as you. I would say in at all UCs except for maybe SD,B,LA, which might be a slight reach.</p>

<p>it’s good that you had an upward swing, colleges like seeing that and you seem like an interesting person. i think you have a good chance at all these schools, mostly if you write kickass essays. im also applying to uc davis. good luck!</p>

<p>hey guys i decided that since my list is kinda abstract and all over the place, i’ll limit them to the UC’s, USC, Boston College, and probably add Vanderbilt. Thanks.</p>

<p>Your SAT and subject scores are strong, no doubt because of the rigorous work done at ELITE :slight_smile:
However, what may hurt you is the lack of AP courses taken throughout highschool, but your GPA should be a good match for UCSD, UCI, Davis, etc. Berkeley and UCLA are reaches–Focus on writing a fantastic essay this summer.</p>

<p>I know that Bio is an impacted major at UCSD, so choosing a major there might possibly dwindle your chances for acceptance. Good luck!</p>

<p>USC seems like your only reach but its not even much of a reach. Write good essays and get good recs. Show them that youre special and you can get into any of those. </p>
