http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1177043-do-i-have-enough-good-ecs-ill-chance-back.html

Despite your high composite score, your Reading ACT is significantly lower than your other scores. Colleges will look at that closely

Oh god there was a serious typo. My English portion should have been 29 not 20

I’d say you have pretty decent chances at all the universities you listed. You have great ECs with a clear direction and awesome stats. Cornell could be a bit of a high reach though.

1st, ew. Policy. Extemp ftw
University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill- High Match (I only say this because you’re out of state)
Vanderbilt University- Low Reach
University of Michigan - Ann Arbor- High Match
Northwestern- High Match
University of Wisconsin - Madison- Match
New York University- Low Reach
University of California - Berkley- Reach
University of California - Los Angeles- High Match
University of Rochester- Match
Emory- High Match

St. Louis University- Match
Case Western Reserve- Not really sure what school this is

My advice would be to bring up your ACT a bit, into the 33-34 range and I think you’ll be set for most of your schools. Also, are the debate trophies you’re talking about from national or local tournaments, because that makes a big difference.

Good luck :D
