<p>If you are in-state, then you have a decent shot at all of them. Of course, these schools are highly selective and even incredibly accomplished applicants get rejected yearly. But, I think your shot is about as good as anyone’s.</p>
<p>But you write that your essay was decent; if it truly was only “decent” and no better, then that is a hindrance. But if you are only being modest, and your essay was actually quite good, then I like your chances for these schools. </p>
<p>UCSD seems almost like a given for you; USC and UCLA are a little more iffy, but you can certainly get in.</p>
<p>You have a solid shot at all 3. Colleges always love to see leadership roles (in addition to band) and you might want to consider doing some school clubs that may seem relevant to your intended major but you definitely dont seem to be too far out from your list. keep it up</p>
<p>I’d definitely say you have a good shot at all of them. UCSD is i’d say a low match, USC a match, and UCLA a very low reach. How did you do on the AP exams? If 4s and 5s then you’re definitely a good candidate for all of these schools!</p>
