<p>Great Essay Topic. As long as your points and experience isn’t run of the mill/boring.
You were class President so that is a huge leg up. I would suggest applying for the UCs (its one application for all nine schools)</p>
<p>Academics good, ECs good, decent chances. SAT is slightly weak though. </p>
<p>Your essay topic is a bad choice. Sorry, but how many students can write about how volunteering made them a better person? Do you see what I mean? The essay is a chance for you to show yourself. </p>
