<p>I've applied to UCLA,UCB and UCSD for chemical engineering, and for the rest I applied for aerospace engineering</p>

<p>IB(bracketed scores are score for the mid years and then the finals for Year 1, and for Year 2 I just included Mid term results and then predicted scores later)</p>

Won the Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam award(1st place) for achieving academic excellence during my 10th IGCSE Board exams</p>

<p>Also, I am an international student, and have NOT asked for financial aid for any of the above universities

<p>youre clearly great at math and science, something that will help since you are presumably declaring your major when you apply. your english scores all around arent amazing and many applicants to the UC schools will have your math skills and better english scores. for that reason and the fact that your EC’s arent too unique, im gonna say that theyre reach schools. with your profile, i think you have a good chance of getting into purdue, georgia tech and university of illinois. umichigan is unpredictable since i have a friend who had the opposite (really good at english and poor at math) and he got rejected last year. regardless of this, i urge you to apply. good luck! chance back? <a href=“http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1718582-chances-of-getting-into-upenn.html#latest”>http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1718582-chances-of-getting-into-upenn.html#latest&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

<p>Your academic scores are great I suppose. But your extracurricular activities are not that great to impress any of the colleges that you have listed. You meet the academic bar for all the schools but you need to be more passionate about your activities and demonstrate leadership. You cannot just list them down and tell the schools about few details of your activities. Also the common app essays and for UC’s, your personal statement matters the most. Your teachers recommendation, counselor’s recommendation also play a major role in admission decisions. However, you have a higher chance in Purdue and Georgia Tech I suppose. Good luck! </p>

<p>Your overall grades aren’t very high so I don’t know whether UCLA, UCB and UCSD will accept you (they have a lot of applicants (especially UCLA) and look mainly at GPA)</p>

<p>I don’t know a lot about UMich and Georgia tech.sorry :frowning:
I think Purdue would definitely accept you!
UIUC is probably a high match :)</p>

<p>Your SAT reading score is low, but overall SAT scores are good. UCs are a bt of a reach for everyone, but you’re a competitive applicant.</p>

<p>I agree with everyone else, your English score will hold you back a bit. UCs love full-pay internationals though.
