I have a 3.6 gpa and i am applying for 9th grade.
I play 5 sports and I am captain of 3 of those teams.
I am part of band, select band, and jazz band.
I am editor in chief and head photographer for yearbook.
I have all A's and B's.
I got a 70% on my ssats.

What schools do you think are good for me in CT and that I will get into.

Here’s a good list
[Connecticut/CT Boarding School - Boarding School Review](Best Boarding Schools in Connecticut (2023))

Your EC’s are great but your grades are only OK and your SSAT scores are pretty bad. I would suggest retaking them if you want to get into a really good school, like Taft. I would also suggest becoming a Mets fan.
from,
a Mets fan

Suffield. Northfield Mount Hermon. Kent. Foote School. Hamden Hall.

how bout loomis???

it definitely doesn’t hurt to apply to loomis. i think their average SSAT is around 80th percentile, so you’re not too far off.

best of luck!
ps, i would contact coaches if you’re really good at sports.

thanx for the help and I have already met with all the coaches… but my number 1 choice is loomis and i really wanna get in!! :)

you will and Yankees rock
Just curious, what do you like so much about Loomis?

i like it because of the campus mainly, but all the schools i visited are amazing :] , sooo as long as i get into at least 1 :)

Wait…how can you play five sports of there are only three athletic trimesters? Wouldn’t your practices conflict?! Sorry, but I don’t believe that you play on 5 varsity teams…does middle school even HAVE varsity?!!

I dont play all my sports in school…i play hockey (tier 1 outside school), tennis (captain)(school), soccer (division 2 outside school), lacrosse (captain)(school), swimming (group leader)

How do you know you’re gonna be lax captain? Isn’t that a spring sport?

I was lax captain last year and i was garunteed a spot as captain

probably not hotchkiss or choate i believe that thier ssat scores are in the 87 and up

how bout loomis, kent, nn taft??

ehhh kent deff NMH maybe …gunnery? CHANCE ME

Loomis and Kent? Your ECs are good, but your SSATs are not so great. If you haven’t had your interviews yet, then you must do your best and show lots of personality! good luck!
