Hi! Overall I think you’ve done a great job with your grades and EC’s. However, please note that the best manner in which to “chance” yourself is to visit the websites of each school and/or maybe even email the university or college. The CollegeBoard’s “See if I’m on track” is a great tool. I recommend it a lot. However, a lot of the colleges you listed are Ivy League, so they are under “most selective”. For instance, Columbia only has a 7% acceptance rate. I am not trying to discourage you, instead motivate you. You never know exactly what colleges want, sometimes I think they don’t even know, haha. Just be confident in what you have done, and be proud because you honestly should be. Great work and I wish you the best of luck! Now you said you could chance me. Please go to the post called: “How Am I Doing?” by MythologyMaster (I really need people’s opinion.)

Your stats are very good, but you come off as a bit “Generic”. Try to find something that sets you apart from others. Most people applying to good schools like these have high test scores and grades.

Your stats are really good, especially SAT/ACT scores! Some schools are really competitive though so like Mandalorian said, try to find something that shows admissions that you’re unique. Please chance me back?

Dartmouth is quite a high reach, but I think you’re definitely going to get accepted to most of the colleges you apply to. Best of luck!! Chance back? :)

Honestly, like everyone has been saying on here, you have very good scores. However, you’re the one that has to also take a little initiative. Take what people are telling you, and take it even one step further! Like I said before, you could email a college/university you’re interested in. Schools love to see students going one step further and reaching out to admissions, it shows interest and great dedication. Even if they’re just simple questions, it’s a good first step. You’ve done a fine job in school, now it’s time you push yourself just a little harder so you can achieve your dreams. Be confident & be proud, those two things will work wonders in life!

Thank you. I want to go to an ivy league but at the end ill go to the college I’m comfortable with. Bumppp

Exceptional stats. GPA and ECs are a great fit for all of the schools. The higher end Ivies (columbia, dartmouth) are always incredibly difficult, but you have an excellent chance of making it into those schools. And remember, schools look for growth in students, so your freshman grades should not hurt you too bad. Theres no telling with those top tier schools, but you have a really solid record in general.

I have a friend that on paper is very similar to you. And he was accepted into Columbia, and Dartmouth. Not sure of the others, hope that helps.

Chance back please? (:

For Dartmouth, UPenn, Columbia, U Chicago you definitely have the stats but it all eally comes down to the admissions officer and their view.
Medium Reach: Cornell, Brown, John Hopkins
Match: Northwestern, Duke
Safety:Washington University STL

Good luck :)

Its going to be a low-mid reach for all of the ivies (but you definitely could get into at least one, just wondering what are you majoring in?) I think you have very solid chances, specifically for Cornell, JHU, UCLA, and Washington. UCB care ALOT about GPA, which you have pretty good not counting your freshman year, so I’d consider it a low reach as well. I hope I helped a bit.

*definitely
Your GPA is a bit low, but your ACT score is high. You’ve written 16 extracurriculars, but you can only have 10 on the Common APP. Maybe comment below which you are planning on including, in order that you will do so on the app, and I can give you better advice!

I disagree with most posts on here. I think people don’t quite realize how competitive it is to get into most of these schools. Your ECs are very impressive, but people will have just as impressive ECs with better GPA and test scores at those top schools. You could get into one maybe, but this is my prediction.
