basically, everything really mediocre and my gpa is my lowest point. is u of i a high reach for me? let me know anything that may be helpful, thanks!

gpa a little low… act is ok… everythings decent it depends wat department but im guessing LAS something with writing?? but my opinion is dont expect much and really your out of state and this is just not a great LAS school its good but not great and not worth the 40k that ur COA would be… again just my opinion

engineering and business, probably big reach.

LAS you’d have a shot. Not to judge your college choice, I would agree that U of I’s LAS school isn’t that great. I also visited the Media school and was very very unimpressed.

I’m applying to business, and if I don’t get into that then I’m not going to attend U of I. But again, not judging, if you saw something you loved then go for it.

uhm…you need to work on that GPA! Act is okay, I think to lock your chances you have to raise it to about 30 minimum for each section. extracurricular is pretty legit, maybe a little more leadership role would top it off.

I’m sure there LAC is great, according to princetonreview Political Science and Government is one of their popular majors ( meaning I don’t suspect the school to lack at all in that area). Also according to USNEWS social sciences ( such as poli sci and economics), UI programs are rank top 20 if not 15.
