I appreciate any and all feedback, thanks for your time!

You have a solid chance, I’d say. Your profile shows your strength in and passion for math and sciences, which should make you an excellent student for your intended major. Your ACT and class rank are high, although your GPA is slightly weaker.

Despite all the above, however, it is hard to judge your likelihood of being accepted, since a lot of it depends on your application essays.

Good luck!

Thanks for the response!

Who knows. Unfortunately no one here on CC can give you a good indication – or at least, not a better indication than you can yourself. You know yourself better, you know how your essays are, and you can measure up your stats with the average stats with a google search. For us current students, we don’t know why we got in, we just know that we got in. We don’t know the admissions counselor’s thought process.

Chancing is just going to build expectations that aren’t accurate one way or another. Just take a deep breath and relax – you’ve only got a few more weeks to wait. Trust in your admissions counselor to know whether you’d be a good fit here.

I think everything you have is awesome. I don’t understand the gpa out of six so I can’t attest to that being low or high. It’ll be down to your essays.
