Doubt it, it's a reach. I'd say 25% chance. Although you are top 10%, so are 90% of the applicants. Your GPA and test scores put you in the bottom 25% of accepted applicants. You have good ECs, but at a school like Michigan that won't mean much with a 3.4 GPA and a 27 ACT.

I think my michigan gpa is around a 3.7. My school's gpa scale is rough.

Michigan GPA is your unweighted GPA in your core academic classes sophomore and junior year without consideration to pluses and minuses. They use a standard scale, any A is a 4, any B is a 3, any C is a 2.

Unless you had a very low grade in your non-academic classes, a bunch of A-'s and B-'s, it's likely a reach. They don't take into consideration level of the class when making GPA, although they do consider it for the application. Even your weighted GPA is just average for applicants though.

Instead of worrying about whether or not you'll get in and posting on CC about it, spend the time actually working on your application, get it in as soon as possible, and let the admissions counselors decide.

Meh. Sorry, I'm just kind of sick of all the 'chances' threads.

It's that time of year...threads popping up every time I check now.

thanks....
