Chance me if I were to raise my GPA

Hi

Would I have a good shot at getting in if I have a 3.6GPA, 2000 on SAT? My E/C's are not that great.. Just some tutoring of children & volunteer work in the third world.

I am interested in the pre-med program (100% set on becoming a doctor). Does anyone have more info about the Early Assurance program with the med school? Is it guaranteed admission if you meet the requirements?

You’re in. Don’t even worry about it.

UB Undergraduate sophomores can apply to this program if they have demonstrated a high level of academic competence by attaining a 3.75 GPA and above in science and in non-science courses and have completed at least half of the premedical course requirements. Exceptional candidates from other universities may be considered Underrepresented minorities in medicine with competitive records are especially encouraged to apply. Successful applicants are accepted into Medical School for the class beginning 2 years later. Accepted candidates are not required to take the MCAT, are encouraged to pursue their intellectual interests in their remaining college years, and are expected to maintain a competitive GPA. Submission of SAT scores of 1400 or above is required

i dont think its guranteed admission…? not sure but how the prepharm early assurnace goes is, if you have a certain gpa and meet the requirements for pharm, you can apply as EA. you have to go through interviews and stuff but dont need recomendations or PCAT( if gpa is above 3.5?3.7?) so probably wouldn’t pre med also be similar?? idk

ah, ok, thanks a lot for your help!

i think you’d get in-- i applied march 26th (WAYY past the deadline) and got into the school of management (different major…) with a 1670/2400 (1110/1600) and a 93-94 average. not sure about your other questions cause its not my major- hope this helps.
