I appreciate any and all feedback, thanks for your time!

Your chances are really good, obviously nothing is guaranteed but I think you will get in.

I say you have about a 50% chance of getting in. CAS regular decision is extremely competitive. Good luck !

Wishing you all the best!

You look like a good candidate.

Thanks for the responses! I hope i get in too

I hope you get in, I’m a physics major that got in ED :P

I’d say your definitely a competitive applicant. Your scores are good, you’ve taken tough classes, and your EC’s are solid. The only small, and I mean small, problems are your UW GPA and class rank which will hopefully be overlooked when considering your class rigor. Assuming that your essays and recommendations are good I would give you more than 50% shot. Keep in mind that I am no expert and am merely guessing here. cortana431 was right though in saying that you will have a slightly tougher time getting admitted RD. Your also applied for a slightly ORM so that may hurt you slightly. Best of luck and I hope you get in!!

Sorry about this but what does ORM mean? And ethano, that’s really cool, maybe we will know each other sometime in the future!

If your school sends in a fair amount of kids to Cornell every year, i’d agree that it would be around 40-60% too.

ORM usually means Over Represented Majority (as in ethnicity) but I tend to interchange the M with Major as well. Physics while not an extremely common major does receive higher than average applicants so that may or may not hurt you chances depending on how you compare.

you seem like a good candidate, although your gpa could be a bit higher. however, cornell is very competitive, and although academically you seem fit, you dont seem to stand out to be honest.
best of luck.
