Essays: my counselor and teachers think they're really good....
Recs: 2, one of which is really good and one which is average.
Lived in Illinois, now I live in Singapore
EC: ok, went to state for math team, head of a couple clubs, tennis fresh and soph years

I'm applying to:
Brown, Cornell, Illinois (Urbana), Michigan (Ann Arbor), Wisconsin (Madison), Minnesota (Twin Cities), Boston University, and UC loyola.

all for engineering, except BU is undecided.

what do you think?

in everywhere except ivies.

so you think i have no chance for brown and cornell?

Brown and Cornell are your only reaches, everything else is a match or lower.
You're probably in Cornell. Brown is a reach, but you have a solid chance.

From what people have told me, Essays and Recs can play a big importance on top schools that you're aiming at, if people think your GPA and test scores may disqualify you from really good schools, they could possibly be wrong.

That is just what I have gathered on college confidential.

You seem pretty balanced all around, with good test scores/tennis/math team. Can you give some kind of indication of your ECs? Realistically, many applicants to schools like Brown and Cornell have what you have.

Thanks for chancing me! I'm applying to many of the schools you are!

Brown - high match
Cornell - high match
Illinois (Urbana) - match
Michigan (Ann Arbor) - match
Wisconsin (Madison) - match
Minnesota (Twin Cities) - match
Boston University - match
UC loyola - match

Very impressive test scores and with a strong essay, you will get in to most, if not all, of your listed schools! Good luck!

thanks guys.

bump......

yea id say brown and cornell wud be ur best chances at an ivie, chance me please
