Chance me, If you wish. (below average for average CC member, probably)

Hey guys and girls,

I was wondering where I could reasonably get into school with a 1950 on the SAT I (620 CR, 730M,600W) [from the Oct. 2010 test] and a 4.06 GPA (weighted) 3.47UW (rank 25/330 students)
I have lots of community service (Cancer research, Muscular Dystrophy Association work, played music at nursing homes, etc) and I play a musical instrument (well) if that helps.

I'm applying to Stanford, Caltech, UCB, UCLA, UCSD, UMD, UMBC, VT, Purdue, Illinois-Urbana, and UT-Austin

I know that Stanford and Caltech are nearly impossible to get in (esp. for me) but are the others "reasonable"? For senior year, I decided to take 5 AP classes (Stat, Lit, Calc AB, Human Geo, and Env. Sci) [I'm just an AP Scholar]

Other EC's:
NHS
SGA state delegate
Flash programming (I used to develop for portable devices)
Youth Orchestra, Quartets, etc
I had an internship as a computer analyst at a school system, too.

Thanks for the help in advance. I look forward to learning a lot more from here.

Oops almost forgot that I was planning on majoring in Comp. Eng.

Any other places I should/could apply that I would have a chance of admission at?

First five schools you listed are reaches. Same with the last two.

Agree. You’ll get into VT and Purdue. As for Caltech and Stanford, just make sure you write killer essays, and cross your fingers! :)
